Acknowledgment of Risk
I, the undersigned, understand that transporting horses involves inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, illness, escape, equipment failure, accidents, or death. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with the transportation of my horse(s).
Release of Liability
I hereby release, waive, and discharge Urban Cowgirlz Equine Transport, its owner, operators, employees, agents, and contractors from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising from injury, loss, damage, or death of my horse(s), personal property, or goods during transport, loading, unloading, waiting periods, or trailer training services—whether caused by negligence or otherwise—to the fullest extent permitted by Colorado law.
Damage to Equipment & Property
I understand and agree that I am financially responsible for any damage caused by my horse(s) to Urban Cowgirlz Equine Transport property, including but not limited to trailers, dividers, doors, flooring, panels, or other equipment, whether caused by kicking, scrambling, biting, pawing, or other behavior.
I acknowledge that Urban Cowgirlz Equine Transport documents the condition of all trailers and equipment regularly, including before and after transports, and that such documentation may be used to determine responsibility for damages.
No Emergency or Veterinary Responsibility
I understand that Urban Cowgirlz Equine Transport is not a veterinary service and is not responsible for providing medical treatment or emergency care. In the event of illness or injury, reasonable efforts may be made to contact me; however, I accept full responsibility for any resulting decisions, costs, or outcomes.
Compliance With Colorado Law
I certify that all required documentation is current and will be provided prior to transport, including:
- A negative Coggins test dated within the last 12 months
- Brand inspection documentation, if required based on travel distance
Failure to provide required documentation may result in refusal of service without refund.
Condition & Disclosure of Horse
I certify that my horse(s) is/are healthy, fit for transport, and free from known contagious illness. I agree to disclose any known behavioral issues, medical conditions, or transport-related concerns prior to service.
Failure to disclose relevant information may result in refusal of service and/or financial responsibility for resulting damages or delays.
Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Urban Cowgirlz Equine Transport from any claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising from my horse(s)’ behavior, condition, or my failure to disclose relevant information.
Payment & Cancellation Policy
I agree to the stated pricing:
- $150 minimum or $1.50 per mile (my door-to- my door)
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to fees.
Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Colorado.
Agreement & Signature
I acknowledge that I have read and understand this agreement in its entirety. I sign it freely and voluntarily, intending to be legally bound.
